Everyone is aware that novel coronavirus has infected millions of people worldwide and so far around 200,000 have lost their lives while fighting against this pandemic which to date is incurable. At this moment of grief, the Management stands by the side of the bereaved family of Mr. Farooq Anjum - a kind-hearted person who worked at Pearl-Continental Hotel Bhurban as part of Hashoo family. Simple words may not be able to fill the void as left by Farooq Anjum who died too early.
As today Mr. Farooq Anjum is no more with us, we try to remember him in the most profound way and also reflect upon our feat in attempting to save his precious life. Just to remember that as soon as Farooq Anjum showed initial symptoms of corona, he was timely reported to the local government / health authorities seized with the matter, who not only self-isolated him in one of the rooms of our Hotel used as quarantine but also carried out his mandatory test which later came positive. During his quarantine, we strictly followed the directives, instructions and safety protocols issued from time to time by the local government and health authorities, who also constantly monitored and supervised all essential medicines, food and other basic necessities of living as provided to him as per medical advice.
Since Farooq was struggling with multiple illnesses long before contracting Coronavirus, he was more vulnerable to this pandemic and his health quickly deteriorated. Later on, in accordance to medical advice, he was swiftly shifted to Civil Hospital Murree, and then on the wishes of his family to Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Hospital, Rawalpindi, where he ultimately passed away. May Allah Almighty give fortitude to his family to bear his irreparable loss with fortitude and place his soul in eternal peace.
In this hour of need and assistance, we reiterate all possible support and cooperation to his bereaved family and hope they may overcome this tragedy. Indeed, life and death is in the hands of Allah Almighty and Farooq Anjum shall always remain in our prayers and thoughts.
